The Centre for Clinical information is a website provided by the Western Australian Government. It provides resources on a range of mental health issues for GPs, Mental Health Practitioners, and Consumers. MoodGYM is an interactive website designed to provide preventative information about depression. It consists of five modules, an interactive game, anxiety and depression assessments, downloadable relaxation audio, a workbook and feedback assessment. Using online exercises, MoodGYM teaches cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) principles. CBT is a widely recognised treatment approach for depression. Central to CBT is recognition of the relationship between thoughts and emotions, identifying how to deal with stress, and using relaxation and meditation techniques.
